Donations and purchases enable us to provide food to people in need.  More substantial ‘emergency hampers’ are provided to families and the elderly who are not able to come to the Centre for their meals. 

Fruit and Vegetable Hampers

          are available to anyone once per week and may

          be picked up at the Drop-in Centre 

          •  Monday or Thursday,  9:30 - 10:00 am    

Emergency Hampers

          We provide emergency food hampers to families with children under 19 years of age and to those aged 60 or older who are not able to come to the Centre for meals. These hampers contain basic food needs for approximately one week. The hampers are available for pick up at the Drop-In Centre at these times:

          •  Monday and Thursday:  2:00 - 3:00 pm

          •  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday:  9:30 - 10:30 am,   2:00 - 3:00 pm

CareCards for each family member and current proof of current address are needed.

Christmas Hampers

          At Christmas time St Vincent's coordinates the distribution of hampers to families in need in the Prince George area.   Specific information can be found on our “Special Projects” page.

In response to CoVID-19 ...  

some changes have been made to our processes and protocols.    If you need a hamper, please contact the Drop-In Centre at 250-564-7871 on weekday mornings.   Your information will be taken and your needs discussed;  arrangements will be made for you to receive your hamper at the back door in the afternoon.
