How Can You Help? .....
The Saint Vincent de Paul Society depends heavily on the generosity of others to continue to help everyone we serve in the community. We are blessed and thankful to be supported by churches, businesses, labour groups, community organizations, schools, and many caring individuals in Prince George and the surrounding areas. The Society's greatest riches lie in our volunteers and benefactors who are making a difference in the lives of those who access our services.
The Saint Vincent de Paul Store depends on community donations to continue its work.
Clothing, furniture, mattresses, books, assorted household items and appliances in working order are gratefully accepted.

We prefer that donated clothing be clean.
Donated clothing should be wearable. Please avoid donating items with large holes or stains, or items that are so worn they are not usable.
Please do not leave donations at the back of the Drop-In Centre or outside the store, as items are often opened, strewn about, and unusable by the time staff arrives to open the store.

Please make sure that donations, especially appliances used for food preparation, are clean.
• Due to high repair costs, goods that require major repairs cannot be accepted.
• Please do not leave donations at the back of the Drop-In Centre or outside the store, as items are often opened, strewn about, and unusable by the time staff arrives to open the store.
Food donations make services such as fruit and vegetable hampers, emergency hampers, and meals possible. We accept donations from private individuals and local businesses.
• Please ensure that the items being donated are not spoiled or outdated.
• Due to health reasons, we cannot accept any food donations that have been opened.
If you wish to contribute financially, we prefer that donations be brought to our office or store, or sent by mail. Donations are tax deductible.
